  1. Call to Order at exactly 2:10PM; Opening prayer – led by Mr. Frederick L. Galla; Welcome address – Sr. Ma. Corazon S. Basadre, RSM; Reading of previous minutes by Mrs. Karen Pahit. Presentation of the Agenda for the meeting:

In lieu of the Alumni President’s absence and while waiting for the Alumni Vice-President to arrive, Sr. Cora presided the meeting.
  1. 7th Grand Alumni Homecoming Theme
    1. The table was opened for theme suggestions. The suggestions were:
i.  Columbians: Communicator of God’s Mercy (suggested by Mrs. Jocelyn O. Abao.
ii.  Columbians looking forward to Global Existence (suggested by Mr. Victoriano “Loloy” Capagngan Jr.)
iii.  Columbians reaching out with modern Communication technology (suggested by Engr. Sosino Paderanga
The table was left open for later suggestions.
  1. Program of Activities
    1. First Day: May 10 (Tuesday) PART I
 i.  Registration                         venue: Parish grounds                                                        7:00-9:00AM       
  1. Registration Forms (RFs) will be given to Batch Representative for filling.
  2. RFs to be submitted to secretariat/registration committee on the First Day with the corresponding amount as regards the registrants per batch.
  3. A Registration of 50Php already includes one BINGO ticket for a chance of winning in the BINGO SOSYAL after LUNCH.
ii.  Thanksgiving Mass              venue: St, Michael the Archangel Parish Church           9:00-10:00AM    
  1. If possible, alumni priests will concelebrate with the Parish Priest during the mass.
  2. Inform the alumni priests ahead of time.
iii.  Parade? Or Motorcode? – majority voted for an island tour Motorcade               10:00AM-12:00NN
iv.  LUNCH (Fiesta ng Nayon Theme, i.e. Agape with respective batches)                    12:00NN…
v.  Right after LUNCH will be a BREAK. However, the said break shall be utilized for several activities:
  1. Batch Representatives shall proceed inside the school for a session in Electing a New Set of Officers and drawing lots for the LUCKY KING & QUEEN to be crowned during the program in the evening. POT MONEY for the LUCKY KING & QUEEN will be a minimum of 500Php. For batched 2006 up to present, Pot Money is optional.
  2. While the Batch Representatives are having a session inside the school, the other batch members who decided to remain could play in the BINGO SOSYAL.
  3. Proceeds for the REGISTRATION, LUCKY KING & QUEEN and BINGO SOSYAL will all go to the school.

    1. 12 designs were presented as per suggestions posted on our school’s FB profile/account
    2. #8 design (as suggested by Batch 2009) was chosen by the majority against #7 & #1 designs.
    3. However, the selected design needs a little modification.
    4. Nota Bene (N.B.): School Logo should be GREEN, BATCH year be printed at the LEFT SLEEVE of the T-Shirt.

    1. Should gather data of their respective batch mates – present location, contact numbers, and e-mail addresses (if available)
    2. Will be provided with a batch list containing the names of their batch mates who graduated with them in their respective year. Please claim them at the registrar’s office of the school. (Said lists will be available after 576 hrs.)
  3. Alumni Homecoming…
    1. Date: May 10-11, 2011 (Tuesday & Wednesday). Dates are as such due to the reason that there will be a significant number of alumni that will be coming home for the Mahinog Fiesta on May 7-8. Said dates are final.
    2. Expected activities on the first day are: Registration, Thanksgiving Mass, Parade/Motorcade(to be discussed next meeting), Program
    3. Above-mentioned activities to be discussed and finalized next meeting.
    4. Registration fee: Php50 (majority voted) as against Php30 and Php100.
  4. Jubilarians
    1. Golden Jubilarians: Batch 1960-1961
    2. Silver Jubilarians: Batch 1985-1986
    3. Jubilarians will be acknowledged during the program on the Homecoming dates.
    4. Privileges for said jubilarians to be discussed further next meeting.
  5. T-Shirt…
    1. T-shirt payments will be at every batch’s own risk.
    2. T-shirt colors were assigned by drawing lots in random by respective batch representatives, except for the jubilarians who are being given the privilege to wear their jubilee colors, i.e. batch 1960-1961: Golden-Yellow, whilst batch 1985-1986: Silver (Grey).
    3. T-shirt color assignments are applied to five (5) batch years in transition, respectively.
    4. T-shirt colors are as follows:
 i.      1956-57 – 1959-60--------- Royal Blue
ii.      1961-62 – 1964-65--------- Tangerine Orange
iii.      1965-66 – 1969-70--------- Lavender
 iv.      1970-71 – 1974-75--------- Neon Green

  2. Other Matters
    1. Individual batch reunions/homecomings organized prior to the CSMPHS Grand Alumni Homecoming are at each batch’s own risk and DOES NOT and WILL NOT affect the agreed dates of the school’s 7th Grand Alumni Homecoming.
    2. This meeting is included in the series of meetings to be done in preparation for the 7th Grand Alumni Homecoming.
    3. Next meeting will be on February 5, 2011 (Saturday) at the same time and the same venue.
    4. Batch representatives are encouraged and enjoined to please join and participate in the meetings that will follow. This is for the success of our upcoming events.
